There is literally no reason for there not to be disabled people in every form of media

estimates put disabled people at about 10-20% of the population and yet we are nigh on invisible in mainstream media unless we are there to show how beautiful life is and ~inspire~ an abled protagonist

every show, every book, every film should be showing disabled people, we exist and we have always existed

and please widen the range as well, skinny white cishet boys are not the only people who are disabled
